Production

Every asset below was generated from a written brief and reviewed before it entered the game. The concepts, design and direction are the work of one person.

  • GodotThe engine, and the environment the game and every development tool runs in.

  • SunoMusic. Twenty tracks appear in the game and twenty-one on the album.

  • OpenAICodex, the coding agent harness; Sol, the GPT-5.6 flagship model; and Astra, the GPT-6 model. Together they wrote much of the game code, tests and tooling under the studio's direction, and Sol was used for review passes over the animation work.
  • DeepSeekModels used to write and orchestrate the project’s tooling.

Voice

The trailer narration was cast in auditions generated with ElevenLabs, and Matthew Schmitz was selected as the Ancient Vampire Lord. The same voice carries the Lord’s lines in the game, alongside four other readers.

Cinzel and Source Sans 3, distributed under the SIL Open Font License. Licences are held in cinzel-license.txt and source-sans-license.txt.

Website images

The site’s own backgrounds and the header wordmark were created with OpenAI image generation, alongside artwork and screenshots from the game. The images on the How It Was Built page are captures from the game and its development tools, book plates, generated diagrams, or a design mockup — each is recorded with its source.
